How to Connect your Porkbun Email to Outlook (New) on Windows

Want to be able to use your Porkbun email on Windows 11's fresh Outlook (New) app? This guide walks through all the steps!

1. Create your Porkbun hosted email account.

2. In the Outlook (New) app, open the Settings window from the gear icon in the top-right.

   

   
   

3. From the Settings window, click the Add Account button.

   

   
   

4. In the 'Add...' window that opens, enter your Porkbun email address and click the continue button.

   

   
   

5. If Outlook automatically detects your account settings, you'll then be prompted to enter your password before clicking a Continue button, which should take you to Step 7.

   

   If Outlook does not detect your settings automatically, scroll down to choose the IMAP option:

   

   
   

6. After choosing an IMAP account, you'll need to fill in all of the settings shown below, using your email address for the SMTP username and the password you set in each password field. Then click Continue.

   

   
   

7. Outlook will then prompt you to sync your emails to the Microsoft Cloud, which is required in this version of Outlook, so click Continue.

   

   You should then get a Success message, which means you're all set. Click on on the Done button and start emailing away!
