How to See Every Email Porkbun Has Sent You

Lost a receipt? Wondering whether that renewal notice actually came from us? Your Porkbun account keeps a record of every email our system sends you, so you can find an old invoice, reread a notice you skimmed, or check whether a suspicious email is the real thing. We'll show you where it lives and what's in it.

Where to find your messages

1
Log in at porkbun.com.
2
Click ACCOUNT in the top right corner, then choose Messages. You can also go straight to porkbun.com/account/messages.
3
Your emails are listed newest first. Use the categories on the left, such as Security, Orders, Renewals, and Newsletter, or the search box to narrow them down. Click any email to open it right there in the list.

What's included

  • Everything our system sends your account. Receipts, renewal and expiration notices, security notices, transfer updates, hosting notices, and more, sent to your account's email address or your backup email address. If you change your email address, everything sent to your old one stays right where it is.
  • Our newsletters, shown as the copy you received. These can take a few minutes to show up after they're sent.
  • Emails about your domains that went to one of their contacts. For example, a renewal notice sent to a domain's admin contact. The contact's address is partly hidden.

Older emails

We started keeping full copies of emails on October 3, 2026. Anything sent before then is listed by type and date only, and your order history still has the details for older receipts.

Why some emails say "not stored"

Some emails carry something that could be used to get into your account, like a two-factor code, an email verification code, or a password reset link. We list those so you can see they were sent, but we never keep a copy of what was in them.

If you see one of these that you didn't ask for, someone may be trying to get into your account. Change your password and turn on two-factor authentication if it isn't on already.

Knowing when something new arrives

When we send you something new, a small pink dot appears next to ACCOUNT in the top right corner, and a count shows next to Messages in the menu. New emails are shown in bold with a New tag.

Opening an email marks it as read. If you'd rather clear everything at once, use the Mark all as read button next to the search box.

Note

Emails you just asked for yourself, like a login notice, a two-factor code, a password reset, or the receipt right after checkout, still show as New in Messages, but they won't light up the dot. You already know about those!

Is that email really from us?

If you get an email that says it's from Porkbun and it's about your account, look for it in Messages. If the same email is listed there, it's genuine, and you can open our copy and act on it from inside your account instead of clicking anything in the email. If it isn't listed, we didn't send it.

The one exception is a reply from our Support team, since those come from our help desk rather than our system. For more ways to spot a fake, see Is That Email Really From Porkbun? How to Spot Fake Emails.

Who can see Messages?

Only the account owner. Authorized users on your account can't open Messages, since it includes your receipts and billing notices.

That's it! Your inbox can get as messy as it likes, because the important stuff is always waiting for you in your account. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Support team.
