There are two ways to renew domain name purchases at Porkbun: automatically and manually. If you have a credit card on file and auto-renew is turned on for a domain, domain renewal will happen automatically as the domain expiration date approaches. If you’d prefer to manually renew domain names or add multiple years of renewal at once, you can do so from the Domain Management menu.
We’ve made domain renewal at Porkbun super easy. Follow these steps and you’ll be on your way!

Log in to your Porkbun account. You will arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click on ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and select "Domain Management."

Locate the domain you wish to renew. Click the refresh/recycle icon to the right of the domain name under the "RENEW" column. A menu will open up with sections labeled "Auto Renewal" and "Manual Renewals".

In the "Manual Renewals" section, you'll see the "Domain" box is already checked. If you have Porkbun's web hosting or email hosting applied to your domain, you'll see their expiration dates too.
You can check the boxes for other products you want to renew at the same time, or just leave the "Domain" box checked if you only want to renew the domain. Once you're ready, click the "Add Renewals to Cart" button.

You'll be taken to your cart, where you can see your domain name with a year of renewal added to it. If you wish to add additional years of renewal, click on the "1 Year" dropdown menu and select up to nine additional years of registration.
Note
The amount of registration for a domain may never exceed ten years. If your domain already has multiple years of registration, you will be prohibited from purchasing registration that extends beyond that 10-year limit.

Once you're ready to check out, click "Continue to Billing" to complete your domain renewal purchase. Once you have paid, the additional registration time will immediately be visible in your account, and in WHOIS databases.
That's it! Your domain has been successfully renewed.
If you have multiple domains to renew, you can renew them all at once using our bulk management tool! Here's how.

Log in to your Porkbun account. You will arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click on ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and select "Domain Management."

On the Domain Management page, click on the checkbox all the way to the left of each domain you want to renew.

Once you've selected all of the domains you want to renew, locate the "Bulk Actions" button on the upper-right corner of your domain list. Click the button, then click on the "Renew Domains" option.

After a moment you will be redirected to your cart, where you can see all of the domains you selected and the total renewal price. If everything looks right, click on "Continue to Billing" and proceed through checkout to finish renewing your domains.
