How to toggle auto-renew
When you register a domain at Porkbun, the automatic renewal setting will be enabled by default. If you want to turn that off so your domain doesn't renew automatically, this guide will show you how!

Disable auto-renew for all new domains
By default, newly registered domains will have automatic renewal enabled. If you want to disable that for all new domains that you register on Porkbun, you can do so from your account's settings page. Here's how:
That's it! Now when you register new domains, you'll see that the automatic renewal setting is disabled already.
Note
Other paid services such as email hosting and web hosting packages will attempt to automatically renew so long as they are active. To ensure you aren't charged for those services, cancel the Porkbun hosting plan tied to the domain, and/or any email addresses you don't want to renew.
