How to list your domain for sale on Marketplace
Looking to sell your domain through Porkbun's Marketplace? We make it easy! You set the price and other options, and any visitors to your domain will be greeted with a "For Sale" page that allows them to immediately buy the domain from you or reach out to make an offer. In addition, your domain will be added to Porkbun's search results at the price that you set.
Be sure to review the terms of the Marketplace Program before listing the domain. Here's a link to an overview of how the program works: https://porkbun.com/products/marketplace
Let's get started!
How to list your domain for sale
1
Log in. You should arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click on ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and select "Domain Management" from the list.

2
Locate the domain you wish to list for sale on Marketplace. To the right of the domain is a row of icons. Click the "$" icon all the way on the right, under the "MARKET" column.

On the menu that appears, select the "Sell Domain on Marketplace" option.

3
You'll be presented with another menu that allows you to create your Marketplace listing. You can set the price ($20 minimum, $100,000 maximum), determine whether you want a parking page and contact form, and create a sales blurb that will display on your site.

If you choose to use the parking page we provide, you can set the "Domain Display" option, which will let you capitalize any part of the domain name you want. Here's an example of what the Marketplace parking page looks like, using the settings from the screenshot above.

⚠️️ Note
Using the Marketplace parking page will replace any existing DNS records or third-party nameservers attached to the domain. If you have an existing live website you want to keep online, don't enable the parking page setting.
4
Continue filling out the Marketplace listing as desired. If you enable the contact form setting, you can set a minimum offer, allowing prospective buyers to contact you with an offer.
If you get contacted with an offer below your "Buy Now" price that you're willing to accept, you'll need to manually adjust the price of the listing so your buyer can purchase the domain directly.

5
Finally, you can choose to write a sales blurb that will appear on the site, or you can have an AI-generated blurb created for you, using keywords related to your domain.

6
Once everything is set up how you want it, click on the Submit button.

You'll see a browser pop-up asking you to confirm one more time that you want to list the domain for sale. Click the "OK" button to continue.

That's it! If you've already connected your PayPal account for Marketplace payouts, you'll be taken to the Domain Management page where you can see your domain listed for sale at the price you set.

If you haven't connected your PayPal account yet, you'll be automatically directed to the page where you can set that up. Skip to step 2 of the next section for information on how to connect your PayPal account.
How to get paid when your domain sells
Now that you have listed the domain on the Porkbun Marketplace, you'll need to connect your PayPal account in order to get paid once your domain sells. Here's how!
1
While logged in, click on ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and select "Marketplace Program" from the list.

2
Porkbun can only offer Marketplace payouts via PayPal at this time. To receive payments, select PayPal, then click on the "Connect with PayPal" button that appears.

3
A new tab will open that allows you to log in with your PayPal account. Enter the info tied to your PayPal account to finish connecting it to your Porkbun account.

⚠️️ Note
Payouts generally occur every weekday for sales that are 15 days old or older. Payments may be delayed due to holidays or other administrative conflicts. You can read more about our Marketplace agreements here: Marketplace Agreement
That's it! You have now successfully added your domain to Porkbun's Marketplace and configured payouts. If you return to the "Marketplace Program" page, you can review your earnings and confirm that your PayPal account was successfully connected.

How to delist your domain
Need to delist your domain from the Marketplace? Here's how!
1
Log in. You should arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click on ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and select "Domain Management" from the list.

2
Locate the domain you wish to delist. Under the "MARKET" column to the right of the domain, click on the price that you set previously to open up the Marketplace menu.

3
The Marketplace settings menu will open. If you just want to edit the listing (useful for when you're contacted with an offer), you can do so on this page and submit it again. If you do want to delist the domain entirely, scroll to the bottom of the menu and click on the "delist domain" link on the bottom left.

On the browser pop-up window that appears, click "OK" to confirm that you want to delist the domain from the Marketplace.
