How to Put Your Domain Up for Auction

Looking to put your domain up for auction? Great! This guide will go over how to set that up in your Porkbun account. Domains put up for auction will show for sale on Porkbun as well as other registrars such as Dynadot. If you're looking to put your domain on Porkbun Marketplace instead, check out this guide. Let's get started.

1
Log in. You should arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click "ACCOUNT" in the top-right corner and select Domain Management.

2
Locate the domain you wish to put up for auction. To the right of the domain is a list of icons. Click on the dollar sign icon, under the "MARKET" column.

3
A window will appear that allows you to choose between selling your domain on our Marketplace or putting the domain up for auction. Click on the button labeled "Sell Domain at Auction".

4
You can then set a starting price for the auction, as well as the date the auction ends. Click "Submit" as soon as you're ready to list the domain for auction.

You're all set! The domain is now available for bidding on Porkbun's auction platform. If you want to view and manage your domains listed for auction all in one place, you can do so by clicking on "ACCOUNT" in the top-right corner, then select "Your Auctions - Seller":
