How to set up subdomains in Static Hosting

You can setup up to 10 subdomains with our Static Hosting, allowing you to point subdomains to another hosted site on your domain or even to use it as a redirection to create a Vanity URL.

1
Log in. You should arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click on ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and select Domain Management.
2
Click on the green Static Hosting icon under the Website column on your domain.
3
In the section under Subdomain, you can write what subdomain you want to resolve and what folder you want to resolve it to. In this example, we're going to create a subdomain hello, pointed to a directory called hello, that will resolve at hello.goosehollow.design. Note, you do not need to have the subdomain be the same as the directory name.

4
After setting up your subdomain, open up the Simple Editor, or use the FTP client to access your static hosting files. You'll want to set up the same directory you listed earlier on your domain and place an index.html file in that directory.

That's it! You should now have a subdomain for your domain correctly resolving to the site located under the directory you created.
