How to renew a domain
If you have a credit card on file and auto-renew is turned on for a given domain, your domains will automatically renew as they approach expiration. However, if you would like to manually renew a domain or add multiple years of registration, you can do so from the Domain Management area.
- Log in. You should arrive at the Domain Management screen. If you're already logged in, click your username in the top-right corner and select Domain Management.
- Locate the domain you wish to renew. Click the "refresh" icon (the circle arrow) to the right of the domain name and select "Renew Now."
The Your Cart page will appear with a one year renewal added to your cart. If you wish to add additional years of registration, click on "1 Year" and select up to nine additional years of registration. You will be awarded a discount of $0.30 per year in excess of the first for any regular-price domain.
The amount of registration for a domain may never exceed ten years. If your domain already has multiple years of registration, you will be prohibited from purchasing registration that extends beyond that ten year limit.
Once your cart is looking right, click "Continue to Billing" to complete your purchase. Once you have paid, the additional registration will immediately be visible in your account and in WHOIS.
