How to add your third-party domain to your Porkbun account

If you'd like to use our hosting products but you don't have a domain registered through Porkbun, you can still host a third-party domain. A third-party domain is a domain that you have registered via a different registrar.

Start by logging into your Porkbun account. Click on the downward arrow in the top right where it reads "ACCOUNT," then choose "Add External Domain."

Please note: The domain will have to be configured with Porkbun's nameservers (shown below) at your current registrar. Once the nameservers have propagated, you can then add/submit your third-party domain to your Porkbun account.

Once the domain has been submitted and accepted, you will then see your third-party domain in your domain management area. You can then add hosting or utilize our DNS service even if the domain is registered elsewhere.
